BUDGET EXECUTION REPORT FOR 2008

The implementation of the 2008 budget was affected by exogenous as well as by endogenous factors. Regarding exogenous factors, the steep rises in the prices of petroleum products and other commodities (notably food items such as grains and sugar) impacted both negatively and positively on the budget execution.
